- Manages multiple manufacturing processes
- Plans and directs the layout of equipment to ensure that the production follows optimized workflow and assembly methods
- Manufacturing performance and quality goals are met
- Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Leads and directs the work of others
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required
Responsibilities
The Production Manager is responsible for achieving the company standards in safety, productivity, and on-time production.
- Hires, schedules and trains production staff
- Create an atmosphere promoting development of group’s personnel so that individual, stated career goals can be attained
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- This postion has supervisory responsibilities
- Reports to a director

- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, ultraviolet light, acetone, alcohol, argon, nitrogen, hydrogen, argon/hydrogen gas mixture, Nickel base alloys, stainless steel alloys, Cobalt alloys, Titanium alloys, carbon and alloy steels, aluminum alloys, oil based lubricants and cleaning solutions
- Occasional exposure to moderate cold and extreme heat
- The noise level in the work environment is usually middling

- The nature of the working environment requires all employees to follow safety rules
- Must be able to communicate verbally and have the ability to see and hear well
- The employee must be able to occassionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
Profile
You are high-energy, confident, have great initiative, strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to understand customer's, team's and business' needs.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently, plan and set priorities
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing industrial B2B environment is a plus
- You possess a strong sense of accountability
Requirements
- Candidates MUST be able to pass a drug screen and federal background check
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Communication:
- Ability to speak effectively before team and management members in the organization
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to read, measure and comprehend simple two dimensional drawings
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
