Job Description

This position offers advancement opportunities, where the right candidate will be trained for increasing responsibilities.

The CRPS (Customer Relations / Product Specialist) main responsibility is to nurture existing long-term domestic and international customers as well as establishing new business relationships through warm leads by providing a friendly, professional and technically strong customer experience to that builds customer loyalty. The CRPS performs a pivotal role in facilitating the company's current and future growth.

The CRPS works closely with the Business Developer, Engineer and Production Manager in support of client relations. Superior communication, follow up skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Successful candidates will be able to build trust and rapport with our clients and possess a persistent, go-getter attitude that is not easily discouraged and is a champion for follow-up.

    Responsibilities

    • Helps the company strategically grow by establishing strong business relationships with customers through solid business development activities, using consultative selling techniques, encouraging repeat business and implementing a customer call programs
    • Develops a deep understanding of customer needs, goals, organization structure, decision-making processes and pain-points. Assists in the identification efforts of new prospective companies, industries and applications of our products
    • Maintains the CRM database. Records new entries by entering names, addresses, purchases and reactions of prospects contacted, determines the validity of duplicate or incorrect records, merging and or correcting as appropriate
    • Delivers scripts that describe our products and service in order to persuade potential customers to test our unique value proposition
    • Qualifies incoming calls and inquiries, to evaluate customer's needs
    • Provide accurate and rapid design assistance and quotations
    • Process customer orders and generate sales orders
    • Supports Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Handles customer service related issues involving accounts and or vendors
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    • This postion has no supervisory responsibilities
    • Works under immediate supervision, and reports to a manager

    Requirements

    • Candidates MUST be able to pass a drug screen and federal background check
    • Education: 1-2 years of college
    • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience
    • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
    • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
    • Communication:
      • Ability to speak effectively before team and management members in the organization
      • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
      • Ability to read, measure and comprehend simple two dimensional drawings
      • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
